MULTI-site organic-inorganic HYbrid CATalysts for MULTI-step chemical process

Results and Developments of MULTI2HYCAT related to Key Enabling Technologies regarding SuSChem FP9 paper

Regarding the current SuSChem FP9 paper from 19th of February 2018 sustainable chemistry embraces several technology building blocks in its key enabling technologies are related to objectives and developments covered by MULTI2HYCAT. The application field of advanced material creation requires the development of new catalysts including the support technologies characterization and modelling which are part of the MULTI2HYCAT project. The development of such new catalysts will result in an overall energy intensity reduction for chemical production processes by 20% to 40% by 2050. As coeffect these catalysts can help to reduce CO2 emissions by increasing conversion rate and selectivity of chemical processes due to less waste production and lower energy consumption.
